Though common players can never eliminate bots from the game we can effectively harass them and even cause them to lose some money and/or exp. The following is a comprehensive guide on how to decipher bot code names, how to bounty bots the smart way, and methods for fighting bots. In addition I will continually populate a list of coded bot names so that maybe the GM's can ban them without having to spend the time to crack their code names.

The following is an example of how to crack bot code names

Example of a coded bot name: PKlllllllPK

Here we have 7 unknowns (could be i's or could be L's).

Open your chat and click on the botter. This is your original whisper (the correct name). Hit (...) after the name to send a whisper.

Now open up the chat bar and hit the up arrow. This will pull the original whisper back up (PKlllllllPK ...)

Replace the last unknown with an L.

(PKllllllLPK ...) hit enter. If the whisper doesn't work then we know the last unknown is an I. Write this down on a piece of paper. On the blank chat dialog box hit up to pull the original whisper back up (PKlllllllPk ...).

Replace the second to the last unknown with an L.

(PKlllllLlPK ...) hit enter. If the whisper works then we know that the second to last letter is an L.

Repeat this process until you have cracked the botter's code name!

Botter code name cracked: PKiLiLiLiPK

Harassing the bots:

For the most part, the purpose of a bot is to farm Hero online gold. This may be for a dishonest individual player or worse, it may be for an online gold selling company. The intent of this thread is to get honest players to harass the bots as a deterrent. We must all understand that it is up to the game developers to effectively eliminate bots. GM's can ban individual bots, but that does not in any way address the root of the bot problem. With that said, as honest players, together we can continually kill bots so that they have a hard time making money in our favorite grinding areas. From what I have observed, most bots are Musas with Str/Int builds. The best way to kill these bots is by debuffing their PoW and hitting them with physical attacks and quick, lower level skills. As you keep killing them, they will not be able to farm and they will be wasting pot money. They will continually return to the tavern to re-pot. Sometimes the bot will die from mobs, this is great because they will lose exp as well. Lastly, always look for nearby bot noobs that the botters are plvling. Simply lure mobs to them and enjoy the onslaught.

Five way to Get rich quickly in Hero online

Welcome to THEpowerlevel.. Here are five way to get rich quickly in Hero online. If you want to know, read the following information:

one -

Required lvl: 10 - 25

Money required: 10 - 50k

High lvls throw away there gems! They really don't need them and the profit is too little so they just throw them away. On top they get an abundance of them. Heres how to milk the high lvls of their gems :

 - Go get one citrine ( or a very high selling gem ) and go to a high lvl map such as southern Plains, silent vally, and or crystal summit. You can do this by going to the tavern or bank clerk on dragon castle and teleporting to centarl market. Then go to the nearest guard and move to your disired map.  Make sure you bring atleast 50k with you! And jump servers.... find the server with the highest amount of people on the map. Next - Set up a buying shop for 1k - 3k(Hero gold) each. ( You can do this by ctrl + click your self and click in purchase. )  Make sure you lvl the shop Poor person in need of gold or something. If nothing sells under 10 mins then just go afk for half an hour. If no one sells to you move to the next server.  Once you get enough loot from the high lvls go back to dragon castle and go by the blacksmith, tavern clerk, or by the bounty manager. Set up a shop... sell the citrine that you looted for 15 - 30k each. You also might be able to sell it for a very overpriced rate of 100k each... but people rarly buy it then. For buying them for only 1 - 5k each, and then reselling them you have made a profit of about 25k on each citrine you sell!

two - 

Suggested lvl: 30 - 55. ( lvl 6x are welcome to try but I would say it is a waste of time. ) 

Required money: 3mil - 5mil

You know those blood eagle books that you throw away? This scheme will help you get rid of those books and fork out some profit! First you will need silk cloths, and plain rocks. Make sure you get an abundance of them! Buy one silk cloth, move to a high lvl map such as crystal summit. Set up a buying stand and buy silk cloths for 5k each ( or shout buying 100 for 500k - 1mil ) . After you get enough, check if your faction has gold baisen. If it does then move to gold baisen. This can be done by going to faction district portal in southen plains. After you are in faction district look for the portal to gold baisen. Once you are in GB, click on the guard and move to the middle of the map ( the mining zone ). Buy one plain rock off of someone and then set up a buy shop. Buy plain rocks for 200 - 500 GOLD each, or just say in normal text you are buying them 100 for 50k. After you have bought enough ( I would say about 500 - 1000 rocks are enough. ) move to ss and go kill some mad varigos and get the blood eagles book. I say get about 5 - 12 of them. Once you have enough go to  a blacksmith and click the compostion menu. Put the blood eagle's book in and make some blood eagles helms. Some rumors - higher craft rate with higher kill count. Blacksmith in crystal summit is the best. Blacksmith in cm is the best. Once you have enough ( If you make any be helms ) sell them for 1mil - 1.5mil EACH or make them +2 with citrine gems ( see scheme one on how to get citrine gems faster ) and sell them for 2mil each. I say sell them in dragon castle by the bounty manager or blacksmith or Tavern clerk for best results.

Overall profit - depends on how many blood eagle's helms you make, and or spend on the materials required to make them. If you succeed 5 blood eagle's helms, and had bought the mats for about 2mil then I think there will be a profit of 5mil if you sell the be helms for 7.5mil. Keep in mind you will not succeed a be helm everytime.

Three - 

Suggested lvl: 55 - 75

Required money: 21mil - 63mil If you don't have 20 - 60mil or don't want to spend it then cut the cost in half by doing a 50/50 with someone.  He gives you 10.5mil and you get 10.5mil and open it together. This way if you get something crappy you will loose less.

How to - OK. This scheme worked for me when I was about lvl 60! Are you tired of the over priced Master sword skill prices? Well you know what they say - If you can't beat them... Join them! I didn't get my master sword skill untill I was lvl 67. That is how dumb/poor I was. When I did get my master sword, I got it for only 21mil! I did this by buying an Antique book chest. An Antique book chest is a gamble box that contains all types of master skills ( lvl 60 skills ). If you get lucky you might get the master sword skill book, which is one of the most quested master skills. What you do is buy a Antique book chest for 1mil. Open it for 20mil. If you get a master sword skill book I would say you made a profit of atleast 35mil. ( depending on the prices... usuualy it sells for 60 milish. ) BUT if you get the master fist skill ... you just lost 21mil. The master fist isn't really bought... last time I got 2 master fist skills and I sold them both for 5mil each! ( i got lucky )... Recently I got another master fist ( 4 months ago) and it is still sitting in my bank.... Some Superstitions I made up - After you buy the antique book chest from a store, go to the bank and put it in there. Then go to a blade char or if you don't have a blade char, then just log back on to your other char. ( keep in mind I did this when I was a blade char. ) So if you have a blade char log onto it and get atleast 100 kills by killing monsters your own lvl. Go back to the bank and get the antique book chest out. Open it. I did this and I got 3 master sword skills in a row. ( I got about a total of 10 master sword skills back in the day, and about 10 - 20 usless ones, including 6 master fists. )

Four - 

Suggested lvl: 65 - 80

Required money and items: charm of luck ( old one ), +3 vio blade or +3 bd blade ( sar ).

How to - This one is a little tricky! It use to work for me before but now because of the ncash prices I suggest you don't try it untill the old charms of luck go back to 6 - 10mil! xD... Anyway - What you do is get a vio blade +3 or +3 bd blade sar ( hkhkhk) and get a charm of luck. Get 3 garnet xtals and try to make it +4. If you succeed you make a profit of 30mil, if you get vio blae that is... and about a profit of 100 - 150mil if you get a bd blade. Sometimes it will fail so I suggest you start out with a +3 vio blade. It is usless trying it on a ft blade... and most people only by +5/+6/+7 toxic blades. What I did was get a clean vio blade drop in crimson sky, make it +3 with 9 garnet crystals and ended up making it +4 with the charm of luck I got for 25mil in 2007... My net profit was about 40mil. But the next time I tried to make a +3 vio blade I failed it to +2 with 3 garnet crystals... But if you succeed save up and try to get a +3 bd blade and do the same to it xD.

Five - 

Required lvl: 80+ ( required dt grinding ... )

Required money and items: 1 - 2 bil depending on the price of gs/psl, or just buy a esa, TRUST and TIME and PATIENCE!

How to - Here is one of the granddaddies of all Schemes... You can make over 10bil using this scheme but you also have alot to risk. Due to the prices of gold sand ( only 350mil during the December 2008 event) and psl ( 80mil... ) I would say just sell your armor now and get a esa with that money. If the prices of gold sand are gone back up to 1.5bil, then I suggest you do this: Make a pact with someone you trust ingame. Mainly a real life friend. Both of you get money to get esa. Make a 50/50 deal on what ever drop you get. The way I did it was - My friend wanted to take some time off, and he sold some of his stuff. ( 1.2bil total. ) Then I got some of my stuff and sold that ( net worth about 700mil ). We managed to have enough for goldsand. He didn't have a high lvl char, nor the armor to grind dt so I was givin the ESA. He went to fix up his real life and I went and grinded about 1k every other day in dt. After about 1 month of grinding I got Thunder Lord boots Female. Sold them for 3.5bil+ ( can't remember )... and did the 50/50 deal. For selling my 700mil of junk I made about 1.7bil and he made abouy 1.7bil. For me that was a profit of about 1bil. I got my Relic at 300 kill count, and at 3.9mins remaining on the ESA. It wasn't a high profit but it was good enough... I still have 2.2mins left on my esa... maybe I will get a drac blade ( still doing th 50/50 ) .... hehehehe... Keep in mind this required TRUST and TIME and PATIENCE!

Hero: Ataraxia quest guide

We all know that we can level up quickly if we do some quests. So we should know some quest guides for our game quests. Here is a guide for Hero online ataraxia quest. Hope it can help you .

1. +3 a Golden Pole Arm and bring to Chief Guard Lee

2. Go to Cave of Ruin for Precious Jade and Search for the "Random NPC" like you did with Rare Skill Book Quest.

-check each puddle by right clicking on the Jade Sensor

-Collect 9 Precious Jade. (the jades are random, go through each puddle, if no more jades are found, go to next server. At least thats what I did)

-Search for the Random NPC to turn in the Precious Jades.

-Compose the 3 items given by the Random NPC

3. Go to General Young and Dismantle the item given by General Young and bring to Ice Palace Lord with the following items.

98 iron ore ,19 cast iron ,4 steel ,7 violet iron ,9 toxic iron ,91 black coal ,8 chromatic powder ,32 chromatic gem ,94 natural gem

4. Ice Palace Lord will request another set of items after you bring him the previous items.

concludind :89 silk cloth ,37 silk ,96 tiger leather ,23 iron thread ,6 five dragon embroidery,11 white embroidery,92 dye,87 softening oil,1 stone powder,14 diluted powder ,9 gem powder

5. Once again, Ice Palace Lord will request the final and last set of items.(2 tussah ,2 dense iron ,2 dense iron ,1 delicate silk ,90 volcanic rock,85 red cotton plant ,1 crystal ball of each kind .)

6. Extract the Item given by Ice Palace Lord till you get all 3 Materials. Then bring a set of Divine Books as well as the Items received from Ice Palace Lord to your Faction District Shogun.
( 1 Divine Sword ,1 Divine Throwing ,1 Divine Axe ,1 Divine Rod ,1 Divine Bow ,1 Divine Fist.)

7. The Shogun will request you to kill Red Dragon for Horn of Red Dragon.

8. Bring the Horn of Red Dragon back to Shogun. Apply the pill he gives you.

9. Talk to the Shogun again after you apply the pill. and ENJOY BEING LVL 101.

Where do you open a shop in Hero?

Have you guys seen the people lately with their shops running around or located in the middle of a spot where it doesn't allow you to open a shop in Hero? There is a methods to doing this. Let's start:

Step 1: Go to a spot where your character is able to open a shop normally, set up your shop and start it up.

Step 2: Make sure your key config is set so you can press a keyboard key to run forward, click on the "Stop" button on the shop and keep clicking it while pressing the key you set to run forward.

Step 3: If done correctly, it will not say "Shop closed" at top, while your screen is gone. Another way to tell if it worked is your character will lag when you try to run, remember when running while shop is open you must click on the spot you want to run and not press keys. To test make sure its still open try using a potion or something. But for sure it will lag and your character will glitch all over the place when moving, just work with it and you will eventually get to where you want to go, or you can just keep running around the CM.

Remember these glitches might not work on the first time, it is time based and timing is a must. Get it done right and follow the guide step by step and it will work 100%. I can do this 100% the time. Also remember that when you have the running shop glitch going, you will not be able to see your shop screen while running around, also if you go into someone elses shop or attack something or teleport, your shop will be closed.

Hero guide:Blacksmith

The guide is going to explain how to make + weapons and armor and how to increase our chances of making them in Hero Online. If you think it's useful,just read up.

The + number indicates the number of upgrades the item has.
the upgrades it has are listed in green letters below the weapons name.
The yellow numbers are the result of the items upgrades.

You can upgrade your weapon at the blacksmith, put an item in the upper slot and a gem in the lower slot and it will add a stat bonus to your weapon.
the stat bonus that a gem gives is listed somewhere below the gems name.

there is one down side: there is a chance of failure. the higher + the item you want to upgrade is, the higher the chance of failure. it also seems to get harder when you use higher level items, but im not sure about that. you can decrease the chance of failure by putting more gems in the lower slots. this will only add the gems stat bonus once, but it is recomended for items with more than +1.

You can also use crystals to upgrade your weapons with, however they are quite expensive and are only recomended for higher levels.

There are 3 types of stat bonuses which have a continuos effect on an enemy
-paralisis damage will paralise an enemy. with higher paralisis damage you are more likely the paralise your enemy, with a higher duration your enemy stays paralised longer.

-poison damage will cost an amouth of hp over an amouth of time. im not sure what poison damage does, but poison duration indicates how long it will continue to do damage.

-confusion damage will confuse your enemy by making at attack its allies. i dont realy use this myself, so i dont know much about it. im also not sure of it will work in PvP.

Hero hunter:How to tame the pet

If you've just chosen to become a hunter in Hero Online.So this is a good guide to tame a pet.

First,you need practice and what better way to practice than trying to get your first pet. Start out with a black wolf in highlands. You can go for level 7 wolves but I personally think its easier to get a lvl 8 or 9. Depending on your stats you can hit the wolf with your weapon a couple times. Make sure auto attack is off by hitting the F key and attacking something else just to make sure. Now if you've pumped up Str then you might only want to hit the wolf once. maybe twice. Ok now that you've hit the wolf its HP should be around half. Make sure you don't have a weapon in your second weapon slot and hit with your fists. Do this until it has between 15-20 health. Now switch back to your weapon and hit tame. If it's a success then it dies. if not it refills its health and you get to try again. Simple enough. Make sure you have a tame lvl of 3 before trying to tame a bear. Once you hit lvl 13 or 14 you can start to tame bears. Same deal as the wolf. Hit the bear a few times with your weapon to get it low. You should just be able to use the weapon the whole time. Once it hits about 18-25 aprox. hit tame. if successful congrats its in your inventory if not then try again.

Now for the Mounts. You must be at least lvl 24. Try to have a tame lvl of at least 8. Only 6 is required but it helps to have it higher. Now the next thing you need to do is get yourself a party. Make sure you have some good damage going. So 2 Warriors is good. Also make sure they have para weapons. That is, Weapons with the paralise skill in them. Next, if only one or none of you have a para weapon, Grab a priest. They should definatly have the paralise skill. So you've got your party.

Flying lions, used by warriors, are most often found in the North East corner of the swamp area in Venom Swamp. Great Wolves are found usually south of the lions and just a bit west. Usually by one of the Statues for the cryptic quest. And Snow Tigers are most often found in the Nort West corner of the swamp area. Each mount evolves twice. Once at 54 and once at 81. each time it evolves, however, so does the lvl requirement to ride it. And since you are already at least lvl 24, you are able to ride you're newly captured reindeer. All class mounts require lvl 23 for the first form.

How to Fastest to get a 10 dan horse in Hero

The guide is not a beginner guide, only for those hardcore mount trainers.Are you willing to put in more than 100 hours to train a lvl 100 horse in Hero Online? well this is the way you'll do it fastest right here. Here's the result: 
 

Step 1) Create a new character, either the Overseer or the Elegant Mystic character. Why? Because they can use a rod. this is the most important step  no rod = 1/3 or less of the xp.

Step 2) Level your character to lvl 20(Hero powerleveling), using whatever stats you would like, or that would make it esiest to lvl.

Step 3) In order to add to the hit rate, make a level 2 dex rod to whatever + you can succeed/afford with, yes once again, pure accuracy. This can be achieved with amythists, or for the very rich, amythist crystals. I do not know what accuracy these crystals add. My weapon is a +4 lvl 2 dex rod, with 32 accuracy added.

Step 4) Crowd as many mobs in front of you that your new character can't kill. They must be in front of you , mobs to the sides and behind you will not add exp, and will cost you more in food over time. This is the reason you chose a rod character, because it can hit 3+ mobs at once. You will level three times faster than someone not using a rod!

Step 5) Hit the mobs.... over and over, and over again.

How to strengthening items in Hero Online

How to upgrade items in Hero Online?Below are some information about it.

First,you must find blacksmith on Dragon Castle's City.

You will need at least 1 stone to lvl up your item.
- Armors, weapons and acessories can be lvled up to +8.
- Go to the blacksmith and select the strengthening option. Put the weapon or the item that you want to strength and put 1, 2 or 3 gems( You have to put 3 equals gems, like 3 azures, or 2 diamonds.). The cost of the stregthening depends of the level of the item( example to lvl a item +1 to +2 it will cost 900 Hero gold,but lvl a item +6 to +7 will cost a lot more like 200k) and the level you need to use the item.
-Strengthening can fail, and, if it fails, you wil lose both item and gems
- Gems can be dropped from any monsters, but the drop rate is higher at bosses.
